John Forry

John Forry is Managing Director at CBIZ MHM, LLC. He leads the CBIZ Infrastructure and Project Advisory Group and also chairs the West Coast International Tax Practice. John's career spans more than 40 years in international finance, investment and taxation includes service as business consultant, legal and tax advisor, and professor. He has served as International Counsel and Principal with major law and accounting firms for both large and mid-market businesses and, as Partner with Ernst & Young LLP prior to joining CBIZ, initiated the EY Global Infrastructure Advisory practice.

John's academic tenures include director of tax and selected international programs at the University of San Diego School of Law; visiting professor at Peking University School of Transnational Law (China), Montpellier University School of Law (France), and EcoleSupérieure de Commerce, Toulouse (France); and adjunct professor in the LL.M. and J.D. programs at Fordham Law School (New York).

John has served on the Advisory Group to the U.S. Commissioner of Internal Revenue and on numerous professional organization committees and projects. He is a graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Law School and has authored or co-authored six books and more than 50 articles on international taxation, finance and investment.
